A screening of a 2022 documentary by Dutch filmmakers commemorating the 175th anniversary of the sinking will follow Risseeuw's presentation (the U.S. premiere!).
Mary Risseeuw is a genealogist, historian, writer, and lecturer, with an emphasis on 19th- and 20th-century Dutch immigration and Wisconsin history.
